Give God praise today.  Even when your in the thick of things in life, struggling to stay afloat, debating on decision to make, still give Him praise right now!  Giving Him praise is always right and beautiful.  God can mend your broken heart and refresh your spirit.  He can heal the hurts you experience ... so give Him praise right now!

The world population on 10/25/2010 at 10:30 am (EST) is 6,877,333,737. The population of evangelical Christians is approximately 648,000,000.  We're a few billion behind. The count of stars?  An average galaxy contains between 100 billion and 1 trillion numbers of stars.  We really dont know the number - only God knows.  If God can count and name ALL the unimaginable number of stars, believe me, He knows your name and your life.  If He has positioned each star in its place, He also has placed you in this world for a divine purpose.  He knows your name but do you know His name?  His name is Jesus Christ, the risen Savior!  He has His eyes on you, turn your eyes to Him and allow Him to connect with you. 

And each time you look at each other, just remember to give Him praise and thanks right at that moment because that moment is your "right now" moment!

Votes to Oats

I was reading the paper the other day and Abi was playing and talking nearby.  So she walks over and starts pulling and tugging at the paper asking, "Daddy, what is this ... who is that, etc...?"  She finally pointed to the cover on which there was a picture of Carl Paladino.  An interesting exchange took place after that. 

Abi: "Who is that, Daddy?" 
Daddy: "That's Carl Paladino."
Abi: "What is he doing?"
Daddy: "He is talking to people."
Abi: "Why?"
Daddy: "He wants to be the governor of NY."  (might have been much for a 2 year old, sorry)
Abi: (blank stare)
Daddy: "He's talking to people to get votes."
Abi: "He wants OATS?"
Daddy: (smiling) "No baby, he wants VVVVOTES."
Abi: "VVVOTES ... oh ok."
Abi: (sits down and signaling how she eats oats) "Daddy, OATS are too hot, he has to wait and let it cool down."

What can you do but laugh and pick her up and give her a big hug and smooch!  I love you Abi!
