Giving Birth Isn't Easy

Wanted to share something the Holy Spirit deposited in me a while ago.  Believing His timing is just right.

You are about to have a new "baby"!  You will be blessed with a new life. We are in the delivery room as a patient getting ready to give birth to a new "baby".  (This is not just for the ladies!)

LABOR PAINS ...
His handiwork in your life is about to be revealed to you and the world.  They have started. Contractions stop you in your tracks.  They become more consistent, frequent, and powerful.  It might cause us to scream, cry, grimace, not wish to be here in this moment.

It shows in the natural that the baby inside is ready to come out.  It tells us that the baby can handle the pressure and demands of this life on earth.  It signals the need for that baby to come out into this world.
It shows the time inside the womb has expired.  If it stays inside and doesn't come out, it will cause "bad" pains even leading to death for the "baby" and the "mother".  When it's right time, it must come out.

PUSH PUSH PUSH ...
Don't give up now.  You are almost there.  Hold on tight.  Give it all you have.  You are about to witness the miracle of life ... the new life God can give you.

NOW WHAT?
Take care of your baby.  You don't leave a newborn to fend for themselves.  You don't leave your "new life" alone thinking it will just grow on its own.  You must nurture it, feed it, bathe it, empower it, and observe it grow.  Handle your new life with Christ in same way.  Take care of it.  It's so precious to Him and must be to you.  Don't neglect or abandon it.  Would you do that to your child?  Don't do it to your new life in Christ.
Handle with care.

Enjoy The Ride,

Cecil

18 Months & Counting

Only by the grace of God & His hand on this ... the past 18 months have truly been a journey of new experiences, struggles, learning opportunities, unbridled joy, tears of joy and pain, great friendships, new lives into the family of God & His church, awesome acts of generosity, healing miracles, and so much more.  God has been with us and brought us this far.  We will not be content with this but press forward and rise up like an army for God.

Community Worship Service (seeing a name change coming soon) is experiencing growth in quality & quantity.  Trusting in God to lead us forward.

This church is going after those who have never heard of Jesus and those who walked away from Him in our community, our generation, and & our kids' generation.  If you know anyone that can identify with that, tell them to connect with the church.  If you are someone looking to be part of a multi-ethnic, living, praying, growing, and generous church, connect with us.  We will take our community, our generation, & our kids' generation back for & to Jesus Christ.

Enjoying The Ride,

Cecil
