New Day - New Week

Finally a new day a new week ... after a long week of a lot of things that wear on your mind and heart, its a new day and a new week.  Even today there are lasting images I'll never forget but I have to believe that God is in control.

It's been a time of self-examination, self-evaluation, and self-awareness in addition to accepting the message God wants to relay to the body.  Pride, laziness, greed, anger, jealousy, and lust are all chains that may be strong, tough to break, and really bound up tight around our hearts, minds, bodies, and lives.

He invests a dream, vision, calling, selection in our lives.  If He did it, we can't shake it off or wiggle out of it.  If men puts a responsibility on us, we can wiggle out of it or they might take off what they put on.  Joseph's calling and dreams were given by God, not his father, Jacob or his brothers.  The beautiful robe was given by Jacob, but Joseph's brothers ripped it off.  Even in the pit God's dream / calling was still inside Joseph.  The shirt on Joseph's back that was purchased by Potiphar was ripped off by Potiphars wife in a passion enraged reaction to Joseph's rejection of her sexual advances.  She might have ripped off his shirt and "title" has manager of the house, but God's dream / calling was still inside of Joseph even in the prison.

We might have to go thru the pits, allegations, and prisons of life before we reach our God ordained destiny.  But if God is the one that invested His dream inside of you, He will make sure to make a way for you to get there.  He provided the bussinessmen traveling by the pit so Joseph can be sold by his brothers.  God provided the Potiphar so Joseph can get a stepping stone to his ultimate destination.  Even in the opportunity, the enemy will try to distract and destroy but we must walk with conviction, integrity, purity, and character.  If so, even when men throw us in the prison, God's favor will be with us.

You're not meant to rot away in a pit or prison.  You're meant to realize your God-given dream / calling.

Enjoy The Ride,

Cecil
